Mambo Dinamico Dance Company is the Triangle’s premier latin dance company. They hold weekly classes, events, and Latin dance socials.

Our challenge: Promoting Agua Y Fuego, the company’s biggest Latin dance social, which has rotating monthly themes.

I decided to create interesting visuals designed stand out in a typical feed. After looking at other latin dance companies’ social media profiles, I saw that no one else was using GIFs. I decided to make a series of themed monthly GIFs that frequently incorporate humor and cultural references in order to stand out amongst event promotions. Over the past year, their attendance has steadily increased to 300-400+ attendees per event with an average growth rate of 10%.
